SUMMARY

We are seeking an Apprentice to join our team at Little Rayes Daycare in Croydon. This role is vital in supporting our mission of providing exceptional childcare and early childhood education. As an Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience while contributing to the development and well-being of the children in our care.

• Assist in the daily care and supervision of children
• Support educational activities and play-based learning
• Help maintain a safe and clean environment
• Collaborate with staff to create engaging lesson plans
• Communicate effectively with parents about children’s progress
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities
• Foster positive relationships with children and families
• Adhere to all childcare regulations and standards
• Qualifications
• Passion for working with children
• Relevant experience in childcare or nursery settings (preferred)
• Understanding of early childhood education principles
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally
• Basic English proficiency (additional languages are a plus)
• Driving license is not required but may be beneficial
