ABOUT US

We’re looking for an experienced and inspiring Nursery Manager/Director to oversee the smooth running and continued success of our two well-established nurseries. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll drive quality, support staff development, and ensure we remain a place where children, families, and staff truly thrive.

Experience:

• Nursery: 2 years (required)
• Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
• Management: 1 year (preferred

Quality and parent relationships

• Ensure full compliance with the EYFS Statutory Framework and safeguarding requirements
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with parents, ensuring they are engaged and happy
• Monitor quality standards across both nurseries, driving continuous improvement

Training and staff development

• Design and lead 5 engaging training days per year
• Manage and improve the induction process for all new starters
• Keep staff CPD files up to date and ensure development plans are in place
• Create training materials for Room Leaders to deliver during the day

HR and team management

• Conduct supervisions and appraisals
• Manage punctuality and attendance
• Support with effective staff deployment to ensure smooth daily operations

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience as a Nursery Manager, or multi-site early years leader
• Excellent knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding best practice
• Proven ability to manage, inspire, and develop teams
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to balance strategy and day-to-day needs
• Confident communicator with staff, parents, and external stakeholders

Pay up to £50,000pa dependant on experience
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
