Location: Abacus Ark Maida Vale (Kilburn High Road, NW65TR)
Employment Type: 0-hour contract
Salary: £12.30 per hour

Position: Nursery Bank staff (0-hour contract)

Responsibilities:

  • Implementing the daily routine and support the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Supporting children in acquiring new skills appropriate for their age and ability.
  • Fostering children’s confidence through engaging and fun activities
  • Recording observations in our parent portal
  • Work collaboratively with nursery staff to maintain a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about their child’s day and development.
  • Using initiative to ensure children have a joyful experience

Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain a clear DBS check
  • Provide details for 2 referees
  • Reliable commute or relocate
  • Work authorization in the United Kingdom
  • A caring and patient attitude with a genuine passion for working with children.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety regulations in a childcare setting.

Nursery Operating Hours:
Open 50 weeks a year
Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 6:30 pm
