OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with children and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment. This role is essential in supporting the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring that children receive high-quality care and early education.

SKILLS

  • Strong management and leadership abilities to guide children effectively.
  • Experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles to support child development.
  • Excellent communication skills in English to interact with children, parents, and team members.
  • A valid driving licence may be advantageous for transportation purposes.
  • A nurturing attitude combined with patience and understanding towards children’s needs.

  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships.
  • Help with daily routines such as feeding, changing, and cleaning up after activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and any incidents that occur during nursery hours.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development.
