We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our team. SKILLS

  • Previous experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
  • *Essential - CACHE LEVEL 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education
  • Playworks level 2, or the willingness to achieve the certificate in a timely manner
  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to drive may be beneficial for transporting children or resources as required.
  • A nurturing attitude towards children, demonstrating patience and understanding.

  • Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Support the Management team in maintaining a clean, organised, and stimulating environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and daily activities.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding as necessary, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
  • Maintain accurate records of children’s development and attendance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive team atmosphere.
