Salary: £25,646.40 per annum ( £12.33 per hour)
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, All year round
The Worcester Park Day Nursery (previously Bizzy Bees) is rated Good by Ofsted (January 2020) The nursery is situated on Longfellow Road, just along the road from the Waitrose supermarket. Close by there’s a selection of bus stops and Worcester Park train station is a 3-minute drive away.
We are currently seeking a Nursery Assistant to join our team. This full-time role offers 40 hours per week, with flexible shift patterns between 7:30 AM and 6:30 PM. Please note that this is a full-year position, as the nursery operates year-round, and is not term-time only.

Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent and visitor at all times
Understand the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS and staff: child ratios
Provide engaging and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development
Facilitate a strong key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments and cover all children daily when colleagues are absent
Observe and support children’s development, update the EyLog system and children’s learning journals with accuracy and relevance, and seek guidance from colleagues or Room Leader if in doubt
Provide the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development
