The Nursery Room Assistant Role is ideal for someone who is starting out in their career in the childcare industry. They will be supported by the Room Manager and Qualified Practitioners. The priority will be to support the children in their room and work closely with the team. They will also liaise with parents with the support of the team on a daily basis providing updates on their key children’s progress. This role is based full-time in the nursery. You will spend the majority of your time on the nursery floor working to ensure that all children attending the nursery receive rich and stimulating experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.

To keep a record of achievement on your key children, with the support of the Room Manager.
Ensure that Early Years Foundation Stage requirements are being met.
Care for and supervise children with regard to their physical, emotional and intellectual needs.
An open and positive working relationship with staff.
