Are you a qualified Level 3 Nursery Assistant looking for an exciting new opportunity in Central London?

We are working with a welcoming and inclusive Children's Centre based in Islington, which is conveniently located in Central London and easily accessible by public transport. They are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and experienced Level 3 Nursery Assistant to join their team and support children aged 0-5 years old.

This is a long-term, full-time position starting as soon as possible, with flexible working hours available between 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm or 10am-6pm.

• Key Responsibilities as a Nursery Assistant:Provide a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for children aged 0-5.
• Support children's physical, emotional and social development through play and age-appropriate activities.
• Plan and support engaging activities that encourage children's learning and development.
• Assist with daily routines, including feeding, changing and sleeping.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Observe, monitor and record children's development and progress.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies and procedures.
• Work effectively as part of a supportive Early Years team.

• What we're looking for:Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years or an equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience working in a nursery or Early Years setting.
• Experience working with children aged 0-5, including babies.
• A warm, patient and engaging approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A good understanding of children's development and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's wellbeing.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and use your own initiative.
