ARE YOU LOOKING TO WORK IN EARLY YEARS CHILDCARE BUT DON’T HAVE ANY QUALIFICATIONS? WE ARE LOOKING FOR A NURSERY ASSISTANT TO JOIN OUR TEAM.

We will offer support and training to help you gain a level 2 or 3 qualification in early years.

You will need to be enthusiastic and have a positive attitude along with excellent communication skills. The ability to build strong, supportive relationships with children, parents and staff is also vital. You must also be patient, empathetic, caring and friendly.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • 1+ years of Nursery experience (Preferred)
  • Good time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding
  • Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities / SENCO etc.

Experience:

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Promote a high standard of quality within the nursery, including practice, environment, and resources to meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • To manage and support children’s personal, social, and emotional development, including the promotion of positive behaviour strategies
  • Support the transition of children into the nursery and then onto the next room
  • Build positive relationships with children, their families, and colleagues
  • Work as part of a team
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
