    A nurturing and inclusive nursery in Lambeth is seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurser Assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) on a part-time, long-term basis.
    This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Early Years professional looking to make a real difference in a supportive and child-centered environment.
    The Role
    The successful candidate will provide focused 1:1 or small group SEN intervention support to children aged 2–4 years, helping to ensure they can fully access and benefit from the Early Years curriculum.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
  • Experience working with children with SEN in an Early Years setting
  • Strong communication skills and a sensitive, proactive approach
  • A genuine passion for inclusive Early Years educatio
Responsibilities
  • Delivering tailored support for children with additional needs
  • Working closely with SENCOs and the wider nursery team
  • Contributing to SEN plans and learning targets
  • Using observation and assessment to monitor progress
  • Supporting children’s social, emotional, and communication development

The role begins in September 2025 with hours from 11:30am to 4:30pm, then moving to a morning schedule of 8:30am to 1:30pm from October onwards. This is a long-term, ongoing opportunity during term time only.
