Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and education to children in the nursery
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and play
- Engage and interact with the children in your care
- Take part in re-setting activities following the curriculum within the setting
- Collaborate with parents and communicate effectively about their child’s day
- Ensure the nursery is clean, organised, and well-maintained
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications:
- Qualification to level 2 or above in Early Childhood Education is preferred
- Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is ideal
- Knowledge of child development principles and practices is ideal (training is given)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with colleagues
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
