Salary: £29,031 - £36,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience)
Location: Finchley Road, Hampstead, London
Are you a culinary wizard with a passion for creating delicious, nutritious meals for little ones? We’re on the hunt for a full-time Early Years Chef to join our Bright Horizons family at JW3 Finchley Road.
Our nursery is proudly Ofsted rated “Good” and is just a 3-minute walk from Finchley Road and Frognal Overground station, and a 10-minute walk from the Underground station. Plus, there are plenty of bus routes that pass right by us!

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook, and present age-appropriate food for all the children with minimum wastage
  • Ensure all dietary requirements are catered for and clearly communicated to the teams
  • Keep the kitchen a clean and safe environment, adhering to internal and external requirements
  • Lead cookery club sessions with the children
  • Support with other nursery activities like BBQs, fetes, and staff meetings
  • Manage and record stock levels in line with company procedure
  • Work in partnership with the nursery team and parents to encourage a healthy and nutritious diet
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health, safety, and safeguarding
  • Maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment with colleagues
