Due to the expansion of opening a new setting, we are looking for a nursery chef to join our Monton Nursery. The hours will be 8am-4pm Monday to Friday for 51 weeks of the year (We are closed on bank holidays, Christmas Eve and the period between Christmas and New Year)
We are looking for a Nursery Cook, who can cook delicious and nutritious meals for our children. ​ The role involves managing the nursery kitchen, maintaining cleanliness, preparing food according to menus, food policies, and dietary requirements, and ensuring timely delivery of meals. ​ Key responsibilities include menu planning, food preparation, maintaining food storage, cleaning kitchen equipment, and adhering to hygiene and health standards. ​ The cook must attend staff meetings, participate in self-development activities, and maintain a friendly demeanour. ​ Health and safety responsibilities include ensuring a safe environment, complying with hygiene regulations, maintaining kitchen records, and reporting defects. ​ The role also requires adherence to nursery procedures and the Equal Opportunities Policy.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.21-£12.35 per hour
Expected hours: 31.25 per week
