Responsibilities
  • Comply with health and safety-fire safety, risk assessments, food hygiene etc.
  • Communicate with line management.
  • To follow the policies and procedures set by the nursery.
  • To maintain high standards set out by environmental health.
  • To maintain and organise all paperwork set out by safer food better business.
  • To follow menus on a daily basis.
  • Record shopping list required for the following week on a Monday after shopping has been delivered.
  • You are responsible to rotate foods and organise your kitchen daily.
  • Be a good role model to the rest of your team and work as part of the nursery team.
  • Act as a suitable role model to all children and colleagues with regards to your attitude appearance and conduct.
  • To attend staff training and staff meetings.
  • Hours are negotiable
