Job Title: Nursery Cleaner (Evening – Part Time)
Location: 50 Howden Hall Road, EH16 6PJ
Pay: From £12.30 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, approx. 6:00pm – 8:00pm (10 hours/week)
Start Date: ASAP

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous cleaning experience preferred, ideally in a childcare, school or healthcare setting
• Good understanding of hygiene and infection control standards
• Ability to work independently with good time management
• Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in maintaining a clean environment
• Previous keyholder experience is a bonus but not required
• Must be willing to undergo a PVG check and provide references

• Clean and sanitise all nursery areas including playrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and staff rooms
• Follow daily and weekly cleaning checklists
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces and floors
• Ensure infection control procedures are followed at all times
• Dispose of waste and recycling correctly
• Maintain stock of cleaning supplies and notify when replenishment is needed
• Report any maintenance or safety issues
