Overview:
We are currently seeking a Cleaner to join our team. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in various commercial settings. If you have experience in commercial cleaning and are detail-oriented, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Meal time tidy up (sweep, mop floor and wipe tables)
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and break rooms
- Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols
- Adhere to health and safety regulations
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong time management skills
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks for extended periods of time
- Excellent communication skills
Please note that this is a general overview of the Cleaner position. Duties may vary depending on the specific requirements of each job site. Applicant must be able to have a clear DBS check, this will be carried out by the nursery prior to starting.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.21-£18.84 per hour
Expected hours: 10 per week
