West Park Kindergarten, situated in the grounds of Blackpool Cricket Club at Stanley Park require a Nursery Cook :
You will be required to carry out all the kitchen duties, including preparation and cooking of the meals and maintaining a good standard of food hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen.
You must be able to prepare suitable nutritious food for a busy nursery. Experience working within an early years or school environment would be beneficial.

Your role as Nursery Cook will include:

  • Preparation and delivery of nutritionally balanced, family-style meals for all children aged 0 - 5 years, following our recently created menu to meet the new EYFS nutritional guidance.
  • Food ordering weekly and stock control
  • Ensuring that hygiene and cleanliness within the kitchen is of the highest standard in accordance with Environmental Health requirements and legislation
  • Following kitchen procedures and maintain records in accordance with Environmental Health policies and processes
  • Ensuring all special dietary requirements/allergies are met
