NURSERY COOK / KITCHEN ASSISTANT

Position: Nursery Cook / Kitchen Assistant
Location: Coombe Dingle, Bristol, BS9
Job Type: 40 hours a week - 7am to 4pm / 9am to 6pm on rotation
As part of the Chalk Nursery Group, Coombe Dingle is one of several small, welcoming nurseries across Bristol. We pride ourselves on our child-centred ethos, warm team culture, and beautiful environments for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
We are currently looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Nursery Cook / Kitchen Assistant to join our team at our beautiful Coombe Dingle nursery setting.
In this role, you’ll support our Catering Manager with the day-to-day running of the nursery kitchen. You won’t be working alone – this is not a Head Chef position – but your contribution will be vital in ensuring our children receive fresh, healthy meals every day.
Located on the edge of beautiful Grade II listed parkland, Red Bus Coombe Dingle is a stunning and spacious nursery filled with natural light and character. Our unique building features open-plan rooms, a dedicated art studio, a Baby Gym, the Red Bus Library and multiple outdoor play areas. With excellent transport links and free parking, it’s easy to get to—and hard to leave! Rated Outstanding by Ofsted.
