Little Oaks Nursery provides childcare for children from 3 months to 4 years and provides children with a range of freshly cooked, healthy snacks and meals throughout the day. We are looking for a cook to work all year round to provide all daily meals and manage the nursery kitchen.
You will need to hold a Food Hygiene level 2 certificate and have recent experience of working in a kitchen. Awareness of dietary needs and allergies is also desirable however training will be provided to ensure up to date knowledge as part of the induction process.

This post is a part time role working Monday to Friday 9.00 am - 3.00 pm on an all year round basis (8.30 am start on a Monday) . Occasional overtime will be required.

SUMMARY

As a Nursery Cook, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious meals for children, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met. You will utilize your culinary experience and kitchen skills to create appealing menus that cater to young tastes. A Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate is essential, along with a strong background in food preparation and meal planning. Your ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment will contribute to the well-being and satisfaction of the children in our care.
