- Hornsey - Creative Explorers Day Nursery and Preschool
- Crouch End - Creative Explorers Day Nursery and Preschool

JOB DESCRIPTION:

To support the lead in implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and work under the direction of the manager and deputise for him/her as and when required.
To support the aims and objectives for the nursery and assist the manager in the organisation of a high quality establishment for children from birth to 5 years by providing high standards of childcare and education - to include the monitoring and review of provision by providing a safe, caring, rich and stimulating play environment which supports all aspects and components of the EYFS curriculum through individual attention and group activities.
To meet the requirements of regulatory bodies with relation to EYFS matters, special needs, child protection, Health and Safety and to ensure that company policies and procedures are adhered to.

To be a successful Deputy Nursery Manager you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or an experienced room leader looking to step up.
  • Minimum NVQ level 3 qualification or equivalent.
  • Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
  • Excellent knowledge of OFSTED standards.
  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong people management skills.
