We’re looking for a Deputy Nursery Manager who’s ready to bring joy, structure, and sparkle to our nursery! This is your chance to step into a key leadership role where you’ll shape young minds, inspire your team, and make magic happen every day.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting the Nursery Manager in the smooth running of the nursery
• Leading by example to create a warm, nurturing, and safe environment
• Mentoring and motivating an amazing team of Early Years Practitioners
• Taking charge in the Manager’s absence—cool, calm, collected (and maybe with a bit of glitter on your sleeve)
• Building brilliant relationships with children, parents, and staff
• Ensuring top-quality care and EYFS learning that’s as fun as it is effective
• Keeping everything compliant, from safeguarding to snack time

About You

• Level 3 or above in Early Years Education and Childcare (a must!)
• Experience in a leadership or senior practitioner role
• Confident, caring, and calm under pressure (even during a glitter explosion)
• A passion for early years development and a belief in learning through play
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, Ofsted requirements, and safeguarding best practice
• A team player who leads with positivity, empathy, and enthusiasm
