Nursery Deputy Manager
This is a part-time position. The hours of work will be during term-time only:
Salary is pro-rota
You will work a guaranteed 15 hours a week and this role will eventfully become 30 hours a week. The ideal applicant should be ready and willing to take on more hours.
The ideal candidate will work alongside the Nursery directors and Manager on all aspects of running the nursery. The successful candidate will have an understanding of marketing and managing occupancy, along with an excellent understanding of the EYFS and the impact this has on quality in the nursery.

YOU MUST HOLD EXPERIENCE IN:

  • Safeguarding
  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS curriculum

Responsibilities
  • To reinforce Company policy and procedures at all times and deal with any issues swiftly and in an appropriate manner.
  • Continually motivate and develop the staff team within the nursery
  • To take agenda items at Staff Meetings
  • Ensure that all children attending the setting are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.
  • Plan and provide activities which enable children to develop and learn.
  • To lead and manage high quality practice in the nursery
  • To work collaboratively with the team and committee, ensuring consistency and a high-quality service
  • To be effectively compliant with procedures for Ofsted, Local Authorities and other relevant bodies
  • To manage and deliver against agreed Key Performance Indicators in accordance with company ethos and policy; all aspects of nursery financial and operational management, including occupancy, staffing rotas, parent invoicing, payroll information.
