Description

Nursery Deputy Manager – Be Part of Something Brand New!
We’re on the hunt for an enthusiastic, experienced, and inspiring Deputy Manager to join us on this exciting journey as we open the doors to our brand-new nursery! This is your chance to be there from the beginning – helping to shape the vision, build the team, and create a truly magical environment for children to thrive.
Why Join Us Now?
Because this isn’t just another job – it’s a once-in-a-career opportunity to help launch something special. You won’t be stepping into someone else’s shoes. You’ll be helping to lay the first bricks (figuratively speaking!) of a brand-new early years setting. If you love early years, leadership, and the thrill of creating something amazing… you’ll love this.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Partnering with the Nursery Manager to launch and run a warm, vibrant, and high-quality childcare setting.
  • Inspiring and supporting your team of educators to deliver magical learning experiences every day.
  • Playing a central role in creating our culture, routines, and learning spaces.
  • Leading by example in safeguarding, compliance, and health & safety.
  • Being the go-to person for staff, children, and families – building strong relationships and making everyone feel welcome and heard.
  • Helping design and deliver brilliant educational programmes tailored to each child’s unique journey.
  • Supporting ongoing staff development and ensuring everyone has the tools and confidence to shine.

What We’re Looking For

  • A passionate and experienced leader from an early years background.
  • Someone with energy, ideas, and the confidence to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in.
  • Strong communication skills – someone who can chat easily with children, parents, and fellow staff.
  • A relevant early years qualification (Level 3 or higher) and experience managing or leading in a childcare setting.
  • Organised, proactive, and ready to embrace the fun and chaos of a new adventure!
  • Experience working with children, demonstrating an understanding of their needs and development stages.

We are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Any appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and the receipt of suitable references.
What We Believe
Every child deserves the very best start in life – and that starts with you. A caring educator. A fun leader. A warm, friendly face. Someone who wants to make a difference and isn’t afraid to dream big with us.
