REQUIREMENTS

• Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education/Childcare.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within an early years setting.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, Ofsted requirements, and safeguarding procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Passionate about delivering high-quality childcare and early education.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Deputy Nursery Manager to support the opening of a brand-new nursery in Northolt. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in establishing high-quality early years care and education from the very start.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery.
• Support staff recruitment, training, and supervision to ensure a high standard of care.
• Maintain compliance with Ofsted and EYFS standards, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure safeguarding and child protection policies are followed at all times.
• Build strong relationships with children, parents, and carers, ensuring excellent communication.
• Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching, learning, and development.
• Step in to lead the nursery in the absence of the Nursery Manager.
