REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience in a similar cleaning role (preferably in a childcare or educational setting).
• A strong understanding of hygiene, infection control, and health & safety.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Must be able to pass an enhanced DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service).

• Carry out daily cleaning duties throughout the nursery, including classrooms, toilets, kitchen, and communal areas.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces and ensure hygiene protocols are strictly followed.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste in line with health and safety regulations.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are used and stored safely.
• Notify the management team of any cleaning supply needs or maintenance issues.
• Follow cleaning schedules and complete required checklists/documentation.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness at all times, in line with childcare regulations.
