We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established nursery seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to lead their 53-place setting. Catering to children aged 3 months to 5 years, this is a fantastic opportunity to take on a leadership role where you can make a real impact on early years education.
As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operational and educational excellence of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care, learning, and safeguarding. ABOUT YOU:

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Qualified to at least Level 3 in Early Years (Level 5 or above preferred).
  • Experienced in nursery management or a senior leadership role within early years.
  • Confident in all aspects of EYFS, safeguarding, Ofsted inspections, and operational management.
  • An inspiring leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organised, proactive, and passionate about delivering high-quality childcare and education.
  • Skilled in managing budgets, staff rotas, and parent engagement strategies.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

You will lead and inspire a team of early years professionals to create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment where children can flourish. Your role will include curriculum leadership, team development, operational management, and building strong partnerships with families and the local community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and support a high-performing team to deliver outstanding early years education in line with EYFS guidelines.
  • Ensure the nursery meets and exceeds Ofsted standards and maintains excellence in compliance and practice.
  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery, including staffing, budgeting, and occupancy management.
  • Foster meaningful relationships with children, parents, staff, and the wider community.
  • Uphold the highest standards in safeguarding, health and safety, and statutory requirements.
  • Promote ongoing professional development through mentoring, coaching, and training.
  • Develop and maintain an inclusive, engaging curriculum tailored to individual children’s needs and interests.
