Children’s Day Nursery & Preschool Manager
We have a fantastic opportunity for either an existing Deputy Nursery Manager or an experienced individual who is looking to take the next step in their career, to lead our clients excellent Children’s Day nursery and Preschool in Oxfordshire!
As the Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children, and managing a team of childcare professionals. Your role will be pivotal in fostering the development of children while maintaining high standards of care and education.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of leading and motivating teams
  • Experience as a Deputy Manager, or Manager within a nursery / Early Years setting.
  • Qualified to Level 3 or above in childcare/Early Years.

The Nursery Managers key responsibilities:
· Lead, motivate, and support staff to deliver high-quality childcare and education.
· Communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on their children’s progress and addressing any concerns.
· Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote children’s learning and development.
· Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children to thrive in.
· Oversee the recruitment, training, and professional development of nursery staff.
· Collaborate with external agencies as necessary to support children’s needs.
· Ensure effective record keeping for children’s development and attendance.
· To oversee all safeguarding practices and procedures for the setting
. Maintaining staff ratio’s
. Keeping and monitoring accident, incident and risk assessment records.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £35,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
