OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to lead our nursery team and create a nurturing environment for children. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, along with a genuine love for working with children. This role requires a commitment to fostering the development of young minds while ensuring the highest standards of care and education.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in a management role within a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
• Strong background in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable.
• Experience working directly with children, demonstrating an understanding of their developmental needs.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with staff, parents, and children.
• A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transportation as needed for nursery activities or outings. • Oversee daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and best practices in childcare.
• Lead, mentor, and support nursery staff in delivering high-quality early childhood education.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote children’s learning and development.
• Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on children’s progress and addressing any concerns.
• Manage nursery resources, including budgeting, supplies, and equipment to ensure a safe and stimulating environment.
• Conduct regular assessments of children’s development, planning activities that cater to their individual needs.
• Foster a positive team culture through regular meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
