Description

You will be responsible for the day to day management, staffing, organisation and smooth running of the nursery.
You will oversee the strategic planning, monitoring, evaluation and assessments and overall development of the nursery structure and system.
You will ensure that the practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage guidelines and all relevant governing and regulatory bodies and authorities.
· To provide professional leadership and management of the nursery and to effectively manage and oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery.
· To deliver high-quality early years education to a high standard by supporting and enabling children to fulfil their potential.
· To provide inclusive play and learning opportunities for all children attending the nursery and to maintain a safe, stimulating and enjoyable environment.

Responsibilities
  • To develop a positive learning environment for children to reach their full potential
  • To be responsible at all times for high standards of care and education of children between two to five years in accordance with statutory requirements.
  • To ensure the EYFS is promoted and delivered within the setting and the principles adhered to.
  • To establish effective partnership working between staff, parents and relevant agencies to ensure every child is supported as required based on their needs and interest.
  • To ensure equipment and resources necessary for the Nursery is ordered and maintained and is compliant with health and safety requirements.
  • To be responsible for admissions in line with the admissions policy agreed by the chief executive.
  • To keep a register and up to date records of all children using the Day Care provision and to give regular feedback to parents about their child’s development and progress.
  • To be responsible for organising training and monitoring students /trainee in the Day Care provision.
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: £400.00-£600.00 per week
