EARLY YEARS PRACTITIONER REQUIRED

Early Years Practitioner required - term -time only (38 weeks) 8.30 to 4pm 3 or 4 days a week, to join a small Montessori nursery in Raynes Park.
The ideal candidate should have an Early years qualification and a sound knowledge of the EYFS. This job requires experience in working with children aged from 2-5 years.
We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic and conscientious teacher who can plan daily activities, plan for the individual child’s next steps and complete observations. Excellent written and spoken English is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• To be responsible for the daily running and administration of the classroom. Following Nursery policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with the Child Act, and Health and Safety legislation.
• Maintaining responsibility for the smooth running of the class.
• Working effectively with the staff to create a safe and stimulating learning experience for the children
• Supporting and liaising with the Senior Management Team.
• Ensuring that the Classroom is kept clean, organised and well maintained.
• Liaising with parents on a daily basis.

THIS ROLE REQUIRES:

• A Clear and current DBS or a willingness to undertake a check.
• An ability to observe, plan for and track children.
• Experience of delivering an EYFS curriculum in conjunction with the Montessori Method.
