Description

We are looking for a level 3 Nursery Nurse to work in our busy nursery. The successful candidate will need to be highly motivated, energetic, enthusiastic and able to ensure a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for all children placed in the nursery between the ages of birth to 5 years.

YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE –

  • Qualified to NVQ level 3 or equivalent with suitable English and Maths GCSE grades if Early Years Educator.
  • Have a sound knowledge and understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding
    Learning Tree Nurseries are committed to ensuring career development and you will receive ongoing training and career development.
    The successful applicant will be required to complete an enhanced DBS Disclosure.
    References will be obtained prior to interview

Responsibilities
  • To ensure children’s social and emotional needs are met through use of an effective settling in period. With an opportunity to build supportive relationships with staff and their key person to make them feel safe, secure and confident to play and explore.
  • To implement the revised Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, leading on planning and ensuring children’s interests and experiences are embedded within their day.
  • To be confident in the procedures to safeguard and protect children.
  • Provide high standards of quality within the nursery including the environment, resources and experiences offered to children.
  • Promote and facilitate positive partnerships with other agencies and parents/carers including new family members.
