Qualified Level 2/3 Nursery Nurse?

  • Leading good practice
  • ensuring children are cared for in a happy secure and stimulating environment.
  • To have knowledge, understanding and confidence in keeping children safe and implement our safeguarding procedures appropriately
  • Carry out a key person role, building effective relationships with the parents and children and meeting the children’s individual care and learning needs
  • Supervise, observe, encourage and support the children in meeting their personal targets through their interest in ensuring they progress and develop leading them onto the path of school readiness.
  • To plan, prepare and deliver the curriculum with the team to consistently meet the requirements of the EYFS.
  • To establish a trusting relationship with parents through working in partnership with them, giving daily informative feedback in order to meet their child’s needs.
  • Adhere to all Little Plums Nursery policies and procedures
  • To work as part of a team and with outside agencies supporting children’s needs appropriately.
  • Undertake our mandatory induction program.
  • Highest standards of Health & Safety and well being

SUMMARY

As a Nursery Nurse Level 2/3, you will be instrumental in fostering a nurturing and educational environment for young children. Reporting to the Nursery Manager, you will utilize your core skills in childcare and early childhood education to support children’s development and well-being. Your communication skills will be essential in engaging with parents and colleagues, while your premium skills in management and leadership may provide opportunities for growth within the team. Additionally, your relevant skills in English and driving will enhance your ability to connect with families and participate in community activities. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Level 2/3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
  • Proven experience working with children in a nursery setting
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children and parents
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership and management capabilities
  • Familiarity with English language requirements
  • Valid driving license is a plus for potential transportation needs
