QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE: Level 3 or above in a recognised UK Childcare qualification.
Purple Dove Recruitment are looking for Qualified Nursery Staff to join several nursery setting across London Borough of Bromley.

THE CANDIDATE:

  • Level 3 in a recognised Full and Relevant UK Childcare Qualification.
  • Have had experience working in a nursery setting.
  • Being able to provide and sustain a caring environment.
  • We are looking for people who are proactive and work well as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn, enthusiastic, hardworking and able to work well within a team as well as on their own.
  • Passionate about working with children and provide a safe, loving and home-like environment for children, parents and staff alike.
  • A satisfactory enhanced DBS check which confirms suitability to work with children.
  • Friendly, flexible and positive approach.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • Can demonstrate a high level of communication and good customer awareness.

Responsibilities
  • Building and maintaining excellent relationships with children and their families.
  • Liaise with parents and other staff members.
  • To ensure all children are happy and well cared for and their individual needs are being met.
  • Working to maintain Health & Safety and Safeguarding Practices within the setting.
  • Creating a fun, safe and warm environment where children can flourish and grow.
  • Innovating with activities and constantly challenging your children’s learning and development.
  • To assist with the planning of the curriculum and observe and assess children’s development.
  • To help set up the playrooms for the daily program and to help tidy away.
  • To advise the Manager of any concerns e.g. child protection, the safety of equipment.
  • To be aware of any special needs a child may have and to familiarise oneself with relevant play and learning plans.
  • To teach children, offering an appropriate level of support and stimulation.
  • To attend staff meetings and training courses as required.
  • To keep completely confidential any information regarding the children, their families or other staff members, which is required as part of your role.
  • To keep up-to-date with current good practice.
  • To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the nursery manager, in accordance with the nursery’s objectives.
