JOB DESCRIPTION

Toddlers Den are looking for the right individual to join our outstanding setting.
The right candidate must have experience working with young children, preferably in an early years setting, with at least Level 3 in childcare or equivalent.
The candidate should be an imaginative and creative individual who is happy to work as part of a team, specialising in planning and facilitating activities that make every day a magical experience for the children in our care. We are looking for a practitioner who is particularly interested in working with our youngest groups of children (aged 0-5years) and acting as a key person, catering for the specific learning and welfare needs of a small group. The right candidate will:
Be able to support the wellbeing and intimate care of our youngest children
Be able to communicate effectively with children, parents and other staff
Have an understanding of how to plan and facilitate activities that support the development and enjoyment of our youngest children
Have an understanding of the early years curriculum to assess the progress of our children and support them in their next steps and be able to communicate with parents, and assess learning.
For the right candidate, the contract type, hours per week, and starting salary are negotiable, depending on their experience and qualification level.
