Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate, Level 2 or 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our team. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children in our nursery. Your responsibilities will include supervising children, planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, and ensuring their well-being.
Duties:
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting
- Drive the implementation of the nursery’s curriculum
- Manage daily routines and activities for children
- Provide a high standard of care and ensure the safety of all children
- Support children’s learning and development through engaging activities
- Assist with meal times, including feeding and promoting healthy eating habits
- Maintain a clean and organized nursery environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum qualification in Early Childhood Education or relevant field
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting
- Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written)
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices
- Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures
- Ability to work well in a team
- Passionate about providing quality care and education to young children
