Are you a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner? Our outstanding nursery in Billericay is looking for a nurturing and enthusiastic individual to join our vibrant team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the development and care of children within our stimulating and supportive setting.
We are seeking a Nursery Practitioner who is committed to providing the highest standard of child care and early years education. You will work as a Key Person, building strong relationships with children and their parents to support their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Act as a Key Person for a group of children, monitoring their progress, and ensuring their individual needs are met.
• Provide a safe, secure, and stimulating environment that promotes each child’s development and well-being.
• Observe and assess children’s development, contributing to their learning journals and planning next steps.
• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with parents and carers, providing regular feedback on their child’s day.
• Work effectively as part of a supportive team to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.

• Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, health, safety, and hygiene are maintained at all times.

  Essential Requirements:

• Minimum Level 3 full and relevant qualification in Childcare (e.g., NVQ, CACHE, Diploma for the Children and Young People’s Workforce). This is a mandatory requirement.

• At least two years of experience working as a Nursery Practitioner or Early Years Educator within a childcare setting.
• A solid understanding and working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• A genuine passion for child care and early childhood development.
• Proven experience in a role with more children-related experience.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  Desirable Skills:

• Paediatric First Aid certificate.

• Food Hygiene certificate.
• Experience as a Key Person.

• A creative, enthusiastic, and nurturing approach to learning through play.
