This is a new and exciting position for Nursery Practitioners to join us following a refurbishment of the nursery with new and exciting challenges in our ever expanding company

The Old School House Day Nursery in Tamworth has been operating for over 7 years, and we now have additional nurseries in Walmley and Aldridge.
We are open Monday to Friday from 7.30am - 6.00pm, we close on Bank Holidays and between Christmas and New Year. Everyone deserves a well earned break at Christmas!

What will your role entail?
You will be responsible for supporting young children in achieving their next steps in development through a key worker role, as well as providing outstanding levels of care to children at our nursery.
You will be responsible for a small group of key children, ensuring that you contribute to the fantastic parent partnerships we have created at our nursery through exciting events and parent workshops too
Injecting fun and creativity into the children’s environment and activities, implementing your own ideas and creativity to support children’s learning and development.
Sharing your ideas on how we can improve practice and support staff and children in our environment
We are looking for someone who has at least 1 year’s experience working within a nursery setting and with the following attributes & skills:
- Must hold a relevant childcare qualification. For example, NNEB, BTEC, NVQ Level 3 in Childcare
Nursery Assistant, Early Years Practitioner, Childcare Assistant, Early Years Educator, Nursery Nurse, Preschool Assistant, EYFS Practitioner, Child Development Worker, Early Years Teaching Assistant, Early Childhood Educator, Key Worker, Room Leader, SEN Nursery Assistant, Montessori Practitioner, Childcare Worker, safeguarding, EYFS framework, early childhood education, child-led learning, behaviour management, parent partnership, developmental milestones, Ofsted standards, nursery setting, play-based learning.
- Able to obtain a full DBS
- Thorough understanding of the EYFS
