NURSERY ROOM LEADER - LITTLE FARLINGTON

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and committed Nursery Practitioner for room 1 Discoverers & Explorers (6 months - 2 years), with the desire and drive to be part of ‘what is possible’ in our brand new nursery, Little Farlington.
As an unqualified nursery practitioner we offer you the opportunity to complete Level 3 Early Years Education Apprenticeship after a successful probation period. This is a structured apprenticeship programme, with full training and support from experienced mentors. ‘Little Farlington’ is a brand new nursery and pre-school, opened in September 2023, which is all about ‘what is possible’

You will be working with and supporting colleagues in the care of nursery children, in a way that meets their educational, physical, social, emotional, intellectual and developmental needs, enabling each and everyone of them to discover what is possible.
Job Type: Full Time/Permanent 40 hours per week - 51 weeks per year
Job Description - The role of the Nursery Practitioner is to work as part of a team to ensure the daily needs of children between the ages of 6 months and five years are met within the nursery setting and that they provide a welcoming and stimulating environment in which children can develop and thrive.
The Nursery Practitioner performs an important role in directly caring for and developing the children’s learning, maintaining a high-quality, stimulating learning environment, building and maintaining relationships with parents and other carers.
This role would suit someone who is self motivated, flexible and passionate about children’s development and is committed to creating a stimulating indoor and outdoor environment that meets the needs of all children. They will have already had experience of working within a nursery or similar setting and have a good understanding of early years practice from 0 to 5 years.
