Description

ABOUT US

White Lodge enables those with disabilities, their families, and their carers to lead fulfilling lives.
Supporting over 2,500 individuals across Surrey, we offer a diverse range of services for all ages and abilities.
Our wonderful site in Chertsey houses three specialist buildings, each with great facilities and services. These include physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, a specialist nursery, hydrotherapy, holiday clubs, personal support in the home, short breaks, fitness and rehabilitation. We also offer many activities such as trips out, art, baking, swimming, and much more!
We are now looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 36 hours per week, Monday-Friday, during term time.

Responsibilities

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will deliver inclusive, high-quality early years education and care to children aged 2-5.
Acting as a key worker for a group of children and families, you will plan and deliver engaging activities that support each child’s learning, development, and wellbeing across the EYFS framework.
You’ll observe and assess learning, contribute to progress tracking, and implement individual support plans (including IEPs or EHCPs).
Ensuring children feel safe, secure, and emotionally supported is essential, and you’ll also provide personal care with dignity and respect, while upholding safeguarding and health and safety standards.
Additionally, you will:
- Build strong relationships with families and attend planning and review meetings
- Support daily routines and maintain a clean and organised environment
Please note, due to our open and collaborative working environment and the nature of our work with children and adults with disabilities, all our office-based roles can experience periods of elevated noise levels and some elements of disruption.
