Flower Pots Day Nursery are currently recruiting for a level 3 qualified room leader to become part of our growing team at Tring Nursery.

Flower Pots Nursery Group is a collection of nurseries based in Hemel Hempstead and surrounding areas, catering to children aged from three months to five years. Our nurseries are dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children to thrive. We pride ourselves on offering high-quality care and early education tailored to each child’s developmental needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Early years education qualifications, such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Experience in planning and implementing educational activities for young children
• Skills in supervising and supporting team members
• Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records of children’s progress and development
• Excellent communication skills with children, parents, and colleagues
• Understanding of health, safety, and hygiene practices in a nursery setting
• First Aid and safeguarding training is desirable

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Room Leader located in Tring. The Room Leader will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a nursery room, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for children. Tasks include planning and implementing educational activities, supervising and supporting other staff members, maintaining records of children’s progress, and communicating with parents and guardians. The Room Leader will also ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
