Description

We are seeking a Nursery Room leader. Please only apply if you have a minimum level 3 childcare qualification.

tasks:

  • To plan, prepare all staff learn as well as participate in activities that stimulate the interest of the children and the babies. It is crucial to take the Equal Opportunities policy as well as any issues of diversity into account. An awareness of how skills and knowledge of books and all of the play materials in the nursery environment develop and celebrate diversity amongst the children within the local community.
  • We require an individual to work independently on their own initiative at times with the support of the Manager and Directors.
  • The ability to communicate both verbally as well as in writing form with the children, parents and external agencies.
  • Able to supervise and delegate staff appropriately, with the awareness of legislation requirements.
  • Maintaining routines is essential.
  • To work flexibly in response to service demands.
  • To respond to reasonable requests and carry out duties as requested for the smooth running of the nursery.
  • To take pride in our environment.
  • Encourage equal opportunities and concentrate on the Safeguarding and well-being of the children at all times.
  • To support and advise the rest of the team ensuring that management maintain good relations with all staff, including volunteers, students and parents.
  • We offer an emotionally, and psychologically safe environment for the children in our care, this includes any visitors.
