Job Title: Nursery Room Leader (0 - 5 years)
Location: London
Salary: £27,000+ per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Hours: 40 hours per week, shifts varying between 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM
About Us: We are a warm and nurturing nursery dedicated to providing outstanding care and education for young children. Our passionate team works together to create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment that supports children’s early development. We are currently looking for two enthusiastic and experienced Room Leaders to join our team—one for our Toddler Room and one for our Baby Room.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience working in a nursery setting, with leadership or senior practitioner experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and child development.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Passionate about providing high-quality early years education.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts between 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the daily operations of either the Toddler Room or Baby Room, ensuring a safe, happy, and stimulating environment for children.
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Support and mentor nursery practitioners within your room, fostering a collaborative and high-quality team.
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, ensuring excellent communication and partnership.
  • Monitor and assess children’s progress, maintaining accurate records and supporting their individual development.
  • Ensure all safeguarding and health & safety policies are adhered to at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider nursery team to deliver high standards of childcare.
