JOB SUMMARY

The Nursery Room Leader is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the nursery room, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. This role requires strong management and leadership skills to guide a team of childcare professionals while fostering positive relationships with children and their families. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to the development and well-being of young children.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in a leadership or management role within a childcare setting.
  • Strong background in early childhood education or related field, with relevant qualifications preferred.
  • Experience working with children in a nursery or similar environment is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to drive may be advantageous for transporting children or attending off-site activities.
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth and development.
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: From £13.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 35 – 41.25 per week
