Forbes nursery is a long established family run nursery in Bruntsfield and Leith. We are heavily focused on outdoor play and expanding child’s experiences and knowledge. We are looking for a room senior for our Under 3’s team. Would ideally be looking for someone who has been in this role for a couple of years or a experienced practitioner wishing to take that next step in their career. We provide extensive internal and external training to make sure that you can deliver the best care and experiences for the children and increase your knowledge. Candidate should have the following

• Childcare qualification- SVQ3, HNC or equivalent
• Previous experience of at least 3 years
• Experience of planning, monitoring and evaluation
• Working knowledge of Rebirth to 3, as well as an awareness of Building the Ambition, GIRFEC
• Experience of Learning journals is desirable but not essential
• PVG and SSSC registration (these can be arranged following a successful interview)
