REQUIREMENTS FOR THE NURSERY SALES & MARKETING ASSISTANT

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools is advantageous.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
  • Previous experience in a sales or marketing role is desirable but not essential.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

ROLE OF THE NURSERY SALES & MARKETING ASSISTANT

  • Respond to nursery enquiries across multiple channels (phone, email, video, in person).
  • Organise and schedule nursery show-arounds, and follow up with families afterwards.
  • Explain childcare fees and government funding options clearly to parents/carers.
  • Collaborate with managers and directors to monitor and report on nursery occupancy.
  • Maintain accurate records of all leads and client interactions using CRM software.
  • Contribute ideas to support marketing strategies and improve client experience.
  • Send out nursery welcome packs to prospective families.
  • Support an inclusive, respectful and culturally sensitive service for all families.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE NURSERY SALES & MARKETING ASSISTANT

  • To offer a warm welcome to all clients via phone / video call
  • To send (via post) the nursery welcome pack which promotes the nursery
  • To work in partnership with parents / carers in meeting their childcare needs
  • To provide a service which values and respects the culture, language and ethnic background of families.
  • To manage incoming enquiries in our nurseries.
  • Assist answering questions and helping the clients in obtaining information about the services available across the nurseries. Face to face, phone, post or electronically. This will include providing childcare fee information and government childcare funding options.
  • To follow-up enquiry leads, understanding the needs of customers and building a good relationship.
  • Present the services favourably and in a structured professional way.
  • Liaise with respective setting managers on all leads and nursery show-arounds.
  • Answers questions from clients about our nurseries and the benefits of registering with us. Each nursery has unique selling points.
  • Maintains excellent relationships with clients through superior customer service.
  • Track all enquiries, conversations and conversions using CRM software.
  • Work with the marketing department to develop new sales strategies and how to make them work.
