Ponte Vedra Inn & Club is seeking an enthusiastic, service-driven Children's Club Supervisor to help oversee daily operations of The Reef, our premier children's program. This leadership role is ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring others, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and creating a safe, engaging environment for children. Position Children's Club Supervisor Reports To: Children's Club Manager What You'll Do As the Children's Club Supervisor, you will partner with the Children's Club Manager to ensure The Reef operates at the highest standards of safety, service, and quality. You'll help lead the team, oversee daily operations, support training, and create exceptional experiences for our members, guests, and their children. Key Responsibilities Assist in the daily operation of The Reef Children's Club. Lead by example while maintaining Forbes Five-Star hospitality standards. Supervise, coach, train, and support Children's Club team members. Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, payroll, and performance management. Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging childcare environment. Ensure compliance with all childcare safety policies, sanitation standards, and emergency procedures. Plan and participate in age-appropriate games, crafts, educational activities, camps, and special events. Build strong relationships with children, parents, members, and guests through personalized service. Handle member and guest concerns professionally and promptly. Monitor staffing levels to maximize service while controlling labor costs. Maintain inventory of toys, games, crafts, and childcare supplies. Process reservations, check-ins/check-outs, and point-of-sale transactions accurately. Maintain reception and childcare areas in an organized and welcoming condition. Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and assist members following Forbes Five-Star service standards. Become proficient in reservation, point-of-sale, and childcare management systems. Ensure children are released only to authorized parents or guardians. Report safety concerns immediately and promote a culture of safety throughout the department. Stay current on childcare trends and implement programs that enhance the member experience. Perform additional duties as assigned to support Children’s Club and Surf Club operations. Qualifications Education Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. Experience Minimum two (2) years of experience in a luxury club, resort, or hospitality environment. At least one (1) year of supervisory or management experience. Valid driver's license required. CPR, AED, and First Aid certification required or the ability to obtain certification upon hire. Knowledge & Skills Experience working with children ages 6 months through 12 years. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Knowledge of childcare operations, safety procedures, and child development. Understanding of operating and capital budgets. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, family-focused environment. Strong customer service skills with a passion for hospitality. Experience with reservation systems, point-of-sale software, and Microsoft Office is preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to communicate effectively with members, guests, children, and colleagues. Ability to walk throughout the property for extended periods. Lift, carry, and move up to 35 pounds. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must be able to stand, bend, reach, and remain active throughout scheduled shifts.
