JOB SUMMARY

We Care Bespoke are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to support our clients team in a nursery setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and experience working with children. This role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to providing a safe and nurturing environment for young learners.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
  • A background in early childhood education is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate young learners.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • A genuine passion for childcare and a commitment to fostering children’s growth and development.
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in childcare
    Job Type: Temporary
    Contract length: 2 months
    Pay: £12.00-£12.50 per hour
    Expected hours: 37 per week

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the daily management of nursery activities and ensure the smooth operation of the facility.
  • Support the planning and implementation of educational programmes that promote children’s development.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster positive relationships.
  • Supervise children during playtime and structured activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create an engaging and stimulating learning environment.
  • Drive children to various activities or outings as required, ensuring their safety during transport.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting.
