Description AO Multispecialty Clinic is seeking a dependable and patient-focused Nursing Assistant to support clinical operations and ensure an efficient and high-quality patient experience.This role plays a critical part in maintaining patient flow from check-in through vital sign collection and transition to treatment or exam areas. The Nursing Assistant works closely with clinical staff to support patient care, maintain clean and organized workspaces, and ensure clinical areas are properly stocked and prepared.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment. Key Responsibilities: Greet and escort patients from the waiting area to clinical spaces in a timely and professional manner Facilitate patient flow between check-in, vital sign collection, and treatment or exam areas Accurately obtain and document vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration rate, weight, oxygen saturation, and pain/fatigue levels Prepare patients for examination or treatment, ensuring comfort and readiness Maintain cleanliness of treatment areas by cleaning and sanitizing rooms between patients in accordance with infection control protocols Stock treatment areas with necessary medical supplies and equipment Assist clinical staff with basic patient care and procedures as needed Observe and report patient concerns or changes in condition to appropriate clinical staff Ensure compliance with clinic policies, safety standards, and confidentiality requirements Requirements Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Completion of a Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program preferred, or relevant clinical experience Basic knowledge of medical terminology and patient care procedures Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Commitment to patient confidentiality and compassionate care Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and assist patients as needed Manual dexterity to operate medical equipment and perform clinical tasks Work Environment Clinical setting with frequent patient interaction Fast-paced environment supporting multiple specialties Requires standing, walking, and assisting patients throughout the day
