There is a cohesive multidisciplinary team of Registered Nurses, Charge Nurses, Physicians, Physicians Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners on this unit. Our medicine specialists are dedicated to providing comprehensive, leading-edge care to our community. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Assists patients with activities of daily living such as feeding, toileting and hygiene Provides basic nursing care to non-acutely and acutely ill patients Assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment Works under the directions and supervision of the registered nurse in charge of the team and/or unit Answers phones and call lights Ensures unit is stocked with supplies Assists patient transporter as needed Other duties as assigned Shifts: Night Shift 1930- 0700 including some weekends shifts

Responsibilities

The Nursing Assistant assists patients with daily living activities and provides basic nursing care to both non-acutely and acutely ill patients. They work under the supervision of registered nurses and help maintain a safe and clean environment.
