Job Duties and Responsibilities: · Assists patients with activities of daily living such as feeding, toileting and hygiene · Provides basic nursing care to non-acutely and acutely ill patients · Assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment · Works under the directions and supervision of the registered nurse in charge of the team and/or unit · Answers phones and call lights · Ensures unit is stocked with supplies · Assists patient transporter as needed · Other duties as assigned Shifts: Day Shift 6:15AM - 4:45PM

Responsibilities

The Nursing Assistant will provide basic nursing care to both non-acutely and acutely ill patients, assisting with activities of daily living such as feeding, toileting, and hygiene under the supervision of a registered nurse. Duties also include maintaining a clean environment, answering phones and call lights, and ensuring the unit is stocked with necessary supplies.
